GREGG RUSSELL

November 26, 2020

There are no words to properly convey the impression Gregg Russell has left on all of our hearts. As his extended family, we feel compelled to return the favor by surrounding his wife, Tessa, and daughter, Lucy Claire with as much love and support as possible.

At this overwhelming time, we encourage everyone to stay safe by taking the holidays to process and heal. With permission from the Russell family on 7.18.21, Gregg’s Birthday, the dance community will be hosting a celebration in honor of his life.

Our hope is to offer a space where we can gather, dance, and hug. We want to properly commemorate Gregg’s talent, his inspiration, his guidance, his jokes, and share our favorite memories.

If you would like to be a part of this event in any way or would like more information, please join our mailing list at greggrusselltap.com. We know that his light was felt far and wide so we will do our best to include as many of you as possible.  And If you are interested in helping support his family at this time, there is also a GoFundMe account set up in his name.

Feel free to copy, post, and share this information with friends and family.

Sending all of our love to each and every one of you. We love you Gregg and we look forward to dancing in your honor.

FROM: ANGELA CARTER, RYAN LOHOFF & THE TITN FAMILY

It is with heavy hearts that we inform you all that Gregg Russell has passed away. Most of you know that Gregg was 1/3 of Tap Into the Network, although he couldn't travel with us much this season due to pandemic rescheduling.

We are shocked and saddened by the news. We also want you all to know how much Gregg loved all of you - our parents and especially our students. Tap Into the Network was a dream of ours, and we were so blessed to get to work together for so long.

Ryan and I will continue to carry on Gregg's legacy through Tap Into the Network. We will keep you posted on our plans to honor him (and his family) in the upcoming seasons.

We are keeping Gregg's family in our prayers, and we ask that you do also. Braham at ASH (Artists Simply Human) created a Go Fund Me for his family. If you'd like to donate, the link is provided above.

Sending you all our love,
Angela & Ryan
